File WO 222/2135 covers Memorials to War Nurses.

It includes:-

1. Memorial tablet at St George’s Church. Ypres.

2. The work of the Military Nurses Memorial Fund.

3. The Scottish Military Nurses War Memorial at St Giles’ Church.Edinburgh. File contains “Order of Service” for Unveiling and Dedication on 3rd November 1921. This was the work of L.S.Roslyn. The tablet commemorates the Queen Alexandra Imperial Nursing Service, the Military Families Nursing Service, Queen Alexandra Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve and the Territorial Force Nursing Service.

4. The War Memorial for Irish Members of the Nursing Services (Queen Alexandra’s Nursing Service; Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Nursing Service Reserve and the Territorial Force Nursing Service) in Arbour Hill Garrison Church Dublin. This was unveiled on 6th November 1921.

5. The Western Infirmary of Glasgow Nurses’ League- unveiling of tablet in Glasgow on 12th December 1925.

6. The Norwich Cathedral Memorial Chapel. Roll of Honour to Norfolk nurses opened in May 1932.
