This project will make available transcripts of documents relating to officers of the Metropolitan Police Force.

The original documents as held at the National Archives will provide much of the information that will go into this project. Using photographs of these sources transcriptions can be created, which will then be searchable through this website.

So far the project has produced some transcribed indexes for the Registers Of Leavers. Please see the Metropolitan Police Records (MEPO) for more information on what's available in this regard.

naphotorecords welcomes help from other users of Your Archives to continue providing transcribed indexes of the documents here on Your Archives.
